   These were cute and relatively comfortable but the shaft slide down my legs within two or three steps and I ended up with large amounts of bunching around my ankles. It looked pretty ridiculous, and I wouldn’t want boots that I have to pull up all the time. I have average calves, so I don’t know what the deal was here. Returned.

   I usually wear a size 9 but ordered a half size up based on recommendations. I had expected it to be too big. But no. The 9 ½ was actually too small. I could get it on but the fit was a half size too small. There is a cardboard edge around the upper part of the heel that rubs as you pull these on. I think in time this would bend. I was not expecting these to pull on like a stretchy sock. But that’s what they are. I considered cuffing them which was a good look. But in the end they were just too small. Returning.

   I am beyond thrilled with these boots. I have been looking for a fabulous sock boot for some time and this is exactly what I wanted, so happy with my purchase. True to size and fit my calf well.

   I had high hopes for this, the third pair of black boots I’ve ordered. Winter will be over by the time I find something that fits and doesn’t feel cheap. For nearly $300, one would hope for something better. Everything feels cheap and little more than bargain shoe store products.
   This one in particular is basically a sock that looks like my grandmother crocheted, with a stiff boot on the bottom. None of the details are described, that I recall.
   Meh.
   The search continues.
